La Dispute - Wildlife

Wildlife is La Dispute's newest album and it's moving in the perfect direction. They have really tightened up their sound in this album, in a way it almost reminds me more of their Here, Hear. albums than it does Somewhere at the Bottom. Jordans vocals seem to blend a lot cleaner with the music and yet still manage to hold the same weight and sincerity that I'm sure attracted us all to this band in the first place. The vocal patterns seem more interesting and the guitar has perfected that awkward blend, being both "haunting" and "driving"simultaneously.

I'll even go out on a limb and say that this is my favorite La Dispute album so check it out! Check the song Safer in the Forest - Love Song for Poor Michigan. It's pure genius.
